That's not the way to blend. Your render is too obscured by the flat color among things, so the overall image looks incredibly flat and bland to me. Also centering was a terrible choice, compositionally, for this render.

This, likewise, lacks oomph, I'd peg it to the low contrast. On the other hand Mew's been stretched so it looks bad in that regard as well.

I followed the tut for the vector sig and did it the way it told me to. I guess you're right, I could've moved it to the right side.
