Open the AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall. Double-click the Firewall button to configure the Firewall. Add the files needed.

1.Open the administration console.

Step 7: Click on the [...] button underneath the "File objects to be omitted by the Realtime Protection". Go to the Zylon Gaming directory again, press add, then press OK, and close the avira, because you are now finished.

1. Switch to Expert View by using the Options menu in the upper right corner.
2. Open the Antivirus section, and in Shield tab click the Advanced Settings button. Check that Active Virus Control is enabled.
3. Access the Exclusions tab.
4. You can exclude an application from Active Virus control by adding a rule in the Exception table, by clicking the "+" sign.
5. Search for the application and point to its executable file. For example, to add a rule for Internet Explorer, first click the "+" sign, then specify the path to the executable file of the application.
6. Notice that a rule will appear in the table with the default action Allowed.
7. From the drop down list you can decide to allow or block it.
8. To complete this task, click OK and close.

1. Open the main window. Look in the bottom-left corner and check the "Display" mode. By default, ESED runs in "Standard Mode." Switch to "Advanced Mode" by clicking "Change."
2. Click "Setup" in the upper-right corner of the application window and select "Advanced Setup." Browse through the options list and click on the "+" next to "Antivirus and antispyware" to open another set of options. Then select "Exclusions."
3. Select "Add" and browse for the Boutcheetah file or directory you want to exclude from virus monitoring. Click "OK" to add it to the exclusion list. You may modify this exclusion in the future by clicking "Edit" or delete it by clicking "Remove."
4. Navigate back to the "Advanced Setup" menu. Click the "Add" button to manually locate the Boutcheetah exe file for the application you want ESET to ignore. Click "OK" to close the "Advanced Setup" Menu.

Open the main application window
On the upper right hand corner of the window, click Settings
On the upper part of the Settings window, select Protection
On the left hand part of the Settings window, select Threats and exclusions
On the right hand part of the window, click on the Settings button in the Exclusions section

4. Select an executable file of the trusted application via Browse... or Applications... (show run applications)

Do not monitor application activity
Do not monitor child application activity
Do not scan network traffic
6. On the Trusted zone window, click OK
7. On the bottom right hand corner of the Settings window, click OK

Open your McAfee Security Center, click Internet and Network , and then click the Advanced button in the firewall section. Click Program Permissions , then click Add Allowed Program . Add the programs needed.
NOTE:
McAfee's firewall automatically disables Windows Firewall and sets itself as your default firewall.

To add exceptions to your firewall using Windows Vista, preform the following steps:
1. Click Start , Control Panel , and then Security Center .

1. Click Start , Control Panel , and then Security Center .

1. Go to the VIPRE Business server and open the VIPRE Business console
2. On the left side of the console, under Site Navigator, right-click on the appropriate policy that you would like to add the exceptions to and select Properties
3. Go to the Exceptions > Always Allowed
4. On the right side click on the Add button. You can add File, Add File with Path, or Add Folder. If you have a lot of files you wish to skip the scanning of, selecting 'Add Folder' will skip the scanning of any contents inside the that folder
5. Once finished adding your entry, choose Apply and OK at the bottom, and close that screen
