Do you know what is stopping me from connecting in 5 seconds? it worked before an update O.o

Hey in bout when i try and join a room it says you have failed to connect within 5 seconds and it auto kicks me from room, ive uninstalled completely and downloaded again using mirror 3 from alli's announcments section im wondering if anyone can help, thx.

Edit: I'm using windows 7 and have done administrator and compatability mode
