I'm pretty sure that any -phobia is "real".  Someone just has to say they have it and it becomes one.

EDIT: This would suit me the most;

Achluophobia - Fear of darkness.

Nyctohylophobia - Fear of dark wooded areas or of forests at night.

And this: Aeroacrophobia - Fear of open high places.
