Title: To practise, & out of boredom
Post by: Pein on May 27, 2014, 07:15:52 PM
Most of the time I want to play pvp, there's no one around to pvp or they are just afk. Sometimes I want to practise some skills on flop map, but there's no one around so I can't play...
I wait for so long...and still there mightn't be anyone around to pvp or any other pvp rooms...

I'm thinking; there would be a new option to start a game in pvp without a opponent. So some people could practise alone even if no one else is present. This option will give nothing -- no exp, no gigas, no coins, or nothing.

That's deep. I get them feels.

But honestly though, +1. Just so i could mess about with the A.I, just doing silly useless crap.

Well pein / noblem you are actually onto something  :P

@cooky, much like your suggested sector training ring this idea will allow users to familiarize themselves with how maps are structured. Perhaps they can learn to jump the ledges in flop and practice their timing on holo deck. Although it would be seldom used, who knows though.

Also would be great in a cinematic sense because we won't have to rely on a second player to make clips  ;D  +1

I'd rather have a pvp battle with an A.I that copies attack patterns after like 5 games against it. Wait for it to get real smart then bam.

But, oh wait bots isn't that intelligent to begin with.

The main problem with the ai, is they have flaws that you can simply abuse over and over.

A good example would be Zeon.

I'm paraphrasing a bit but wasn't that supposed to be the strongest A.I ever?

It was more of a starting point, and used as a test on making the strongest ai. But as Ross said it has flaws, big flaws. We can do even better ai now than this with less flaws, ex: Ryura from 266 is harder to beat than Zeon, but yet again, there are still ways to abuse it. It is hard to say weather or not we will get a truly amazing mob that can act like a player, but hey, you never know.

is it hard to add a mode where you fight a computer bot?
like a surge , ram or patch that is on easy, medium or hard to practise with?

what i mean is that ; the patch, surge or ram got the same equipment as you, just not transing at easy
medium it trans barrely and are stronger and hard strongest? xD

idk if it's possible xD

AI system isn't bad at all.

Don't add any mob like ganda or ****.
Just imagine a scenario in flop with a (only one) 258's Gora, and it will have all the good skills -- rush, uc, gc, ion, and mb at the same time. It will have a ability to randomly use a skill.
Idk if it's possible; it would use a gun too.

Imo, it will be better than the average noobs in PvP.

I suppose Fira can build up on this and try to make a better a.i but oh wait too busy with WoW and turning away from the game. Guess that's why game has died, lack of updates n players.Do we seriously have to rely on Cooky's horribad events or anyone elses?
