For 7 days.
7 days it shouldn't have been banned
@iri: Ice was on my bot to add someone (I think), logged out, logged on to his bot, someone coincidentally noticed, asked gramps what to do, he said to ban
..... That's lame. If this is an issue of account sharing then that's not right. Adding someone shouldn't be an issue.
I figured I could speak logic out of gramps, but it was like I was talking to a robot, "It's on the rules so you got banned"

That's really not right. That's not account sharing. It is the only way to do something currently. My suggestion. Contact Allie and hope for the best.
Account sharing is a bannable offense. Technically only your account should have been banned, as its the one being shared, but whatev.
I recall a time when the rules were a means to decide whether someone should be banned, not set in stone to the point where breaking one was a ban no matter the circumstances
edit
Most of the time I don't contact Allie because she doesn't like to reply
Circumstances are, your account is shared for whatever reason. Therefore, your account should be locked (or banned).
Circumstances are Ice uses my account momentarily to make guild decisions when I'm not around, he does not use it to gain currency/exp/gp and in no way harms the community or gains anything personally.
He is not the leader. You are. By giving him your account, you are account sharing. Instead of breaking rules, he can wait until you're around instead of getting you banned.
Waiting for me is both inconvenient and stupid, by the time I get there the person may have logged off that he wants to add, I may be on completely different time zones than this person. I suppose I was under the illusion the rules were there to both protect and better the community, not stop things that give no advantage or harm any member or part of the society.
Applications are there for a reason.
My guild registry is filled with the randomly generated names that don't exist.
They don't exist. That was there on BOTS aswell. Someone can still apply.

Then why is it that my guild registry fills up so fast, even after I empty it a couple weeks later I'm being told people can't apply. and more of them appear over time
edit
All of this is beside the point, this rule needs to be interpreted differently if it is to actually catch anyone doing anything bad
Just verified. Idgaf about what you just said but you have 5 applicant spots open. Start deleting them if you have a problem lulz.
There's 5 spots open because I emptied the thing like a week ago, because someone told me they couldn't apply.
Which means what happened today could've been avoided with an application.
Thanks for understanding.

No, what you are saying is everyone should have to wait for me to get on to make room in the guild, invite people, etc; when there is another person in a leadership position in my guild who can do it while I'm gone, there are often long stretches where I don't come online personally.

Wouldn't be a problem if we could actually appoint co-leaders in game.
This should have happened very differently. As Zeph Said:

Than you should give co leaders the power to kick /Inv some1 and there woulden't be any problem..

And add others.
7days... Deal with it.
How you mean to add players? They should be waiting for you to login and you will see them @ the applies as they cant remove applies and it wasn't full.
TO THE SUGGESTIONS THREAD!
It's been suggested before. Would be awesome though...
imo this is being blown waay out of proportion
account sharing was made illegal for a reason which has nothing to do with what zeph and ice did , so yeah it should slide...
If you break 1 rule why not break them all?
i remember when there was a judge system where people could defend themselves , giving reason and proof for what they did
that was fair..

I've never really broken rules in-game o-o, banning me for this is just stupid. Like mo9 said when this rule was made I'm pretty sure it was cause someone sold their account or something.
Pointless thread. You break the rules you get punished. Get over it instead of making a thread whining about it.

True , that might be and also a week bann is long.. I advertise u to use an alt or something thats in ur guild ;P
Or get ur point it this arguement which wil be hard ;o. It really sucks to have a bann for that..

Actually you shared your account but i have to agree you are banned for a dumb reason if i see the story behind it.
But ya, it is a rule.
Human, very much. I may be harder than previous head gms but thats a good thing for the game, im hard, but i'm also fair. Rules are there for a reason, but, as you said on msn, you have been doing this for a long time and will continue to do so, i guess you don't care for rules much.

I've abided by the in-game rules since I started playing, I've never hacked on bc once, or any such thing, but after all this time you ban me over a rule that was not made for this purpose, with out even considering the situation, yeah I get pissed. What we were doing harmed no one and didn't give us any particular advantage, obviously becoming head gm has caused you to become someone who can't do anything but read off a list. Otherwise you would have even given us some type of warning about it, but you skipped straight to a week ban.

Hard shouldn't mean unfair. If he didn't get a warning like others do then that's not right.

Wel a week bann is long for something like that , it should be a 24 hour bann .. looks better than a week bann..

I am replying for Gramps, he's tired and I don't really blame him.
Warnings are for flaming or for other minor things. Allie has even mentioned Acc sharing is worth a ban, because Acc sharing gives an advantage. Plus you have been playing so long it's figured you wouldn't need a warning.
People are saying, you don't get an advantage? I think it's an advantage in itself that your guild rarely has to wait to accept new members whereas the rest does. Even if this was the tiniest advantage, it's still an advantage over the rest.

Are you really claiming other guilds haven't done this, this gives no real advantage, being able to accept members quickly isn't something that many other guilds can't do, it's like claiming being more active than someone else is bannable, on top of that our guild is one of the few that gets requests for entry that regularly. Allie isn't a good example for punishments, it's rare that her decisions don't **** things up and piss people off. This is no major offense, name one thing it did that had a major effect on anyone, or harmed anything.
sean aka gramps sectorhead says
if silence get a player on a fri and others have to wait til say monday, that player has the ability to gain major levels and gp, also the coins/gigas
Example of advantage from msn.
If other guilds are found to be doing it the same punishment will apply

Nobody's gonna find other guilds doing it cause nobody's being watched like ice was, on top of that any guild that is taking two days to accept members, obviously isn't very active to not have had their leader get on at anytime during the weekend, and probably wasn't grinding very much anyway. You're also assuming that by accepting the new member we gain more gp than we would have, not true, we have full grinding rooms either way
Ice wasn't being watched. Lobby was. Ice talked on your account by mistake then instantly logged off. I'd be a dumb GM if I didn't notice what happened.
tbh you're fighting their examples up there^, but idgaf about the situation; you broke a rule, and now you have to face the consequences. I already discussed co-leaders with corr like a week ago and we will be allowing co-leaders with power in the new guild system. 'Til then, deal with it. Locked, any new topic will result in a mute.
