Zomnie's download is a little faster than mine, but I have faster upload and better ping than he does :P lol.

hi I test the speed of my internet in many sites I got the best and accurate speed results from this site http://www.scanmyspeed.com/
my results are
download=1.04Mbps
upload=0.77Mbps.

Can't remember entirely but I believe the current SONET standard is 10GBps.
They're working on OC768, which'll provide up to ~40GBps.
(Can't remember entirely if it's GBps or Gbps but I think it's GBps)

edit:nevermind looked it up. it's Gbps.
