Well i do not believe that he is doing this on purpose.
After he posts his original idea, another idea comes into his mind that may not seem to sound well, or have anything to do with the previous idea, so he thinks it would look silly to put both ideas in one post. That, or he just doesn't think about editing the first one at all, and perhaps he thinks someone else has already posted.
