That's why platinum is better.
Even if I got stuck because I used a cheat and now I can't complete my pokedex because I skipped a battle using a cheat and now I can't win.

I had a team of level 100s in pokemon silver.
Another one in pokemon sapphire.
Never had another one again.
(though I reached the 90s in platinum)
