I got White but.. White 2? really? where's my Ruby & Sapphire remake...
Black and White's story and engine were awesome, the Pokemon weren't that great. I didn't like it how the story ended soo abruptly.
Pokemon HG and SS were pretty the best for me so far, I loved the GSC series and the re-make was actually awesome.

i remember someone tried to attempt at making one online as a bootable game via gba emulators or something but decided to quit cuz he was too busy with college and new pokemon games/badges and characters were added like almost every (other) year.
looking at the previews of the progress the game was really almost as good as official, and all the pokemon had their original stats/etc.

I think Game Freak is overdoing it with all the new Pokemon games. From an in-game standpoint, Pokemon became pretty stale after Generation 3. Each game has a really similar story and follows the same formula. I only played Generation 4 because my friends played it too. It really shows how Nintendo is just milking Pokemon to no end.
LG/FR were disappointing remakes.The fact that they lack the Battle Tower makes them boring after completing the story.

ya but the problem with using rare candies is after using 5 consecutively your pokemons stats would still keep going up but not as much as it normally would
only a pokemonmaster_ knows that :D
thats why i used 4 rare candies then leveld my pokemon manually then repeat to 100 :D

EV's and IV's have nothing to do with EXP. They're just dependent on the type of pokemon you battle. If all you do is use rare candies to level your pokemon up, you'll have limited EV & IV experience for that particular pokemon.

All you have to do is fight a level 2 Zigzagoon on Route 101 for 1 Speed EV, 2 if you use a Macho Brace. You can easily kill 252 Zigzagoons at level 99 without leveling. >.>

It's perfectly fine..
DeSmuME has the same bugs as No$gba.
DeSmuME is for more higher end spec computers, so it runs games with much better graphics and has decent compatibility with the average ROM.
Whereas the no$gba emulator has better speeds, more efficient, better for the low end specs and waay better compatibility than the DeSmuME.

DON'T USE ACTION REPLAY.
It fked up my Pokemon White.
Random crashes.
Corrupt save data.
Eventually, my DS would refuse to turn on with White in the cartridge. I had to buy a new one because of it. >_>

most of the roms are in japanese even though the games got released a couple weeks ago, if you preordered the game it comes with a flash drive (i think) that has pokemon white 2/black 2 (depending on which game you pre ordered) in it.

theres an exploit i found you can do to get like 10 levels before the opelucid city
attach lucky egg to the pokemon ur training (if it as an ice or rock move, ur in better shape)
battle the pokeon breeder on the bridge (if ur around level 40-45, you get about 1k exp per pokemon)
enter the house right next to her
exit the house and battle again
repeat
since all pokebreeders rebattle you when u enter the route, you get many many exp
in about 40 minutes, i got all my nigs from level 44 to 50
ooooor just use action replay
oooor dont be a ***got and do it legit 8)
too tedious of a process to do it all over again every pokemon game so i just exp hack
legitly i'll end up the same play just that i'm saving 60+ hours of work for catching all pokemon and training them legits lol

Every attack move is either special or physical, special attack stat is how much damage a special attack will do whereas attack corrosponds with physical attacks. With special defense and defense its the same concept.

what. an aerodactyl using dragon pulse.. seriously? you cant even argue that its situational because aeordactly also learns dragon claw rock slide, stone edge, ice fang, which all would have killed salamence in 1 hit. I dont think you understand the difference between attack and special attack. Aerodactyl has very high attack and bad special attack. Dragon Pulse is a special attack so therefor it didnt do much damage. Dragon Claw would have easily killed Salamence in 1 hit, despite being lower in power, because its a physical attack not a special attack. Not trying to be mean just trying to teach you.

he used and buffed up his sweeper first turn knowing people usually send out ferrothorn or some shit to stealth rock and spike the place. 2 turns is all it takes and you're dead.

The episode, called "Electric Soldier Porygon", is now part of Pokémon folklore. Centring around the adventures of Ash and his friends as they travel inside a Pokéball transmitter machine, its story and premise are innocent enough. The machine is broken, and the kids embark on an adorable little cyberspace adventure to fix it.
What caused all the problems were the animation techniques employed in the episode. There comes a point, around twenty minutes into the show, when Pikachu uses his lightning attack to blow up some missiles. Because these are virtual missiles, and Pikachu is currently residing in Pokémon's version of cyberspce, a regular explosion just wouldn't look right.
So the animators used a rapidly-strobing technique that flashed red and blue lights on the screen, to make the explosion look "virtual". Like something you'd see in Tron, or the Lawnmower Man.
And then all hell broke loose.
Straight away, children across Japan were struck down with various ailments. Some kids passed out, or experienced blurred vision. Others felt dizzy, or nauseous. In extreme cases, some even experienced seizures and cases of temporary blindness.
While the exact number of children legitimately affected by the show will never be known, in total 685 kids (375 girls, 310 boys) were put in ambulances suffering some kind of medical problem after watching the episode. While most made speedy recoveries - some within minutes after the show's conclusion - a small number were diagnosed with epilepsy, which had been triggered by the rapidly-blinking display.
The incident, which became known in Japan as "Pokémon Shock", was a disaster for children's animation in Japan, Pokémon and Nintendo, whose stocks took a hit. The show was taken off the air for nearly four months while its producers and health professionals scrambled to discover what had caused such a concentrated outbreak of health issues. It also resulted in a wave of negative, if ill-informed comments from the American media.
When it eventually returned, it did so with several changes. The show's opening credits had been altered to eliminate the possibility of a repeat incident, and the first episode back was preceded by an "informercial" of sorts (left), which sought to explain what had caused "Pokémon Shock" and reassure viewers that steps had been taken to ensure that it never happened again.

I know that its not only base stats that determine if a pokemon is good or not, but ofc is one of the things. I dont know how things are in pokemon showdown but if u look at professional play(World championship for example) it will be rare some1 use a pokemon with that bad base stats dont matter if he learns good attacks or any other thing. The worst base stats that this year master champion used had a total of 505(Conkeldurr). Im not saying that its impossible but anyway rarer(like u can see the junior division that used a hitmontop(total of 455 if i am right)than great base stats pkm that have other good things. Im not even half of a pro in pkm just saying what i think, maybe im ridiculously wrong.

Well, I'm just gonna jump right in this topic and say that Mega Lucario looks like Giratina and Lucario mixed, in fact most of the Mega Pokemon who have those weird tentacle things on them look like a Giratina and some other Pokemon mix, and Absol looks like Fluttershy's evil twin brother, I mean just look at this:

It just allows for more vulnerable sweepers in OU and Uber-tiers, and makes use of those NU pokemon while making them look cool and giving them a different ability/type.

Doubt it'd be a huge difference though. It would probably be attack and speed that gets the biggest buff.

i wouldn't say it's "ridiculously easy" compared to previous games, just much easier to level. much easier to outlevel things. if you only level one team for the entire game, they'll easily overpower any npc.

Literally used it once, got a level 73 Noctowl and was like okay then. Then put it into storage and left it til after i completed the game. Haven't really picked it up since i completed it, as misplaced my 3ds somewhere with all the other clutter i have lying around. Hmm, never thought about getting a shiny through wonder trade. I farmed the nursery, hatching eggs from different region poke' hoping that would work, but after about 426 eggs i got bored and realised i wasn't getting a shiny that easily. Perhaps i was doing it wrong, or i just read up wrong.

easier to get than past games. I have three people trying to get me a shiny ponyta, probably at least 1500-2500 hatched eggs between the four of us. All have the knowledge of the proper way to hatch a shiny.

that's actually quite untrue as Rapidash has access to Drill Run which would be a super effective attack against Ponyta whereas Ponyta has no super effective moves against a Rapidash besides Hidden Power Water but lets be real

No you would not, even a Rapidash with no item, 1 in each IV and 0 EVs and a negative nature still wins against an ideal ponyta unless u gave it weird moves and IVs just so it could beat a Rapidash

If you complete your national dex, you get a Shiny Charm. Which would increase your chances of getting a shiny by even more.
Also, wonder trade is ****. Most people just give away bad iv lv 1 hatched pokemon. Even if you get an OP poke, it wont obey you till you beat a certain badge.

uh yeah its called battle spot...all rated battles you do in game are ranked and then ur placed on the rankings online globally and can compare within countries and stuff.
in Battlespot:
You have 6 pokemon. different pokedex entries for each, can't have dupes
choose 3 after getting team preview of opponents team
battle
only 1 mega obv, only 1 copy of an item per team of 6 (so no two choice scarfs on a team of 6)

Never knew about IV's hot damn, just researched i'm suddenly much more interested in playing pokemon. Just spent last 2 hours going through like the 250+ i've got store checking iv's only got x2 iv5's atm which are snorlax and pinsir -_-. Once i've sorted it all out and my pokemon then i'll get on finding you that pokemon;)

yeah when i say 5 or 6 i mean 31 perfect IVs in 5 or 6 slots. (for pure attacking pokemon, sp. attack doesn't have to be perfect for example)
breeding is a bit complicated but once you get it down you can breed for a few hours to get your perfect desired pokemon.
nyways i'll let you figure it out. Any 5/6 iv's are good to have.

funny thing is I went to record on fraps, however i didnt know the emulator im using has F9 (the fraps recording key) mapped to a function (load save slot 9). fortunately, I didn't have any save in that slot, otherwise my game would have been lost and it would have loaded slot 9. I have slot 1-7 filled with saves. that would have been so sad if I lost out on it because of that lol

i caught a bellsprout in xy. being my 2nd legit shiny ever encountered.
i assumed i had saved right after and shut my game off 20 min later of battling.
turns out i lost it.
the first shiny was a wingull in emerald. at that time, i thought it was a glitch in the game that it was messed up in colors and i ran away from it.

aerialate stab ES which is +2 priority is never going to fly with a tank like mence. The only counter would then be fakeout/normal gem/unburden hitmonlee with ice punch or sash mamoswine (which looks to be a staple in the next game for OU after the current list of released megas)
If anything, i think they will drop its def/sp def. But if they do that, they need to add extra stats to something else. (megas get a total of 100 stat boosts)
mega kanga fakeout might do the trick, but he'd have to switch out and sack something to come back in again and fakeout. Even then I doubt two fakeouts would kill even from a powerhouse like mega kang.
if it gets to be faster than greninja and noivern it's definitely going into ubers imo. and by its design alone that seems to be a possibility.

Just the second so far, the gyms are different but every single pokemon (both from grass and trainers so far) are the exact same as ruby/sapphire.
Few small details that look different are a few berry trees are moved.
But most importantly, contests are back!
Along with secret bases and the berry crushing game.
Sadly, it uses the same brendan/may from ruby/sapphire and you can't change their appearance at all. It also maintains the bikes so no skates, and the camera is rarely closeup, so it feels like an original pokemon birds eye view, but with better graphics.
So depressed, have to wait til 28th til it comes out in the uk :(....

Does all evolutions give exp (and if so the same exp)? Considering that it gets harder to catch Pokemon as you lv up, limit ur exp gain from lv 1 by catching only 1 Pokemon that needs the lowest candy to evolve (such as pidgey). Keep catching them until you get like 10k pidgey's then just use a lucky egg, and evolve them into pidgeotto. Then when ur lucky egg runs out just transfer them for more candy and use another lucky egg. Ez leveling. Then ud be some high level catching high cp Pokemon as the base inc as you level. Pokeballs could be a problem, as pokestops give you exp, but you could prob limit that by spending money.
Or wait until trading come out, and trade all ur pidgey's to a lv 1. (might end up in lack of candy though?) If transferring does not give exp you can stack up on candy using that. Gotta catch all the pidgey's.

transfer = 1 candy
600 (500 new pokemon + 100 catch) exp for starter pokemon + 500 exp for new pidgey + 100 exp for each pidgey catch.
so at 1,200 exp u get 1 pidgey.
exp to reach lv 15: 100,000
so 100,000 = 1200 = 98,800 exp
Assuming u catch pidgey's without any bonus exp throws at 100 exp per catch:
98,800 / 100 = 988 + 1 pidgey = 989
Evolve 1/4: (247) at 2x exp: 247,000 exp + 500 new pokemon
transfer for 247 candy = 20 evolution = 20,000 exp, 7 left over candy
20 candy + 7 = 2 evolution = 2k exp, 3 left over + 5 = 8 candy.
= 269,250 exp + 100,000 exp = 369,500 = lv 22.
more exp if you catch more. Depends on how many u can find fast for exp per day.
farming pokestops 24/7 sounds more easy though. 50 exp, rare change of 100. Assuming 50 exp and 3 pokestops in range. = 150 exp per 5 min. 1800 exp/h at perfect rate.
Yeah basically you have a lot of candies saved and a lot of weak pokes saved that can evolve with less candies. Then fire your lucky egg and evolve everything for the full 30 minutes. You get 1k exp per evolution (even more if the evolved poke is not in your pokedex). I think using lucky egg for evolutions is better than pokestops and wild encounters since you get a lot more exp for evolving and you can do it from home and you can get like 60k in 30 minutes (assuming you have enough pokes and candies to evolve 60 pokemon)
I say 60 because it takes ~30 seconds per evolution. 30 min * 2 = 60 evolutions

i have 60/150 pokedex and 275 total pokemon
best catch was a 600cp pinsir
never powered up any of my guys yet as theres no point to really
having lot of fun trying to collect all of the pokemon though i had to spend money on pokeballs and to increase pokemon storage
