this. And maybe make the hp of the mobs scale w/ average level of the room? That way the first 99% of levels aren't stupidly easy for a max level person? (for story mode only, ofc)

PvP is gonna be unbalanced when the level gap is huge, that's just how it's gonna be, you can't really rebalance armor to fix that.

If anything add a mode that evens stats out across the board, giving each bot type a boost in their respective field. (Surge +speed, ram +TG, etc)

Problem I see with that is allowing customization within the mode without making it too complicated / time consuming.

SSDs generally have less space than HDDs, and they have a much higher price/GB. If anything get a 120GBish SSD and have windows boot on it, unless you have a bunch of extra money, then yeah get an SSD for games too.
