Title: BoutCheetah Settings Editor
Post by: Redshadow on January 18, 2011, 09:04:43 PM
BoutCheetah Settings Editor

Current Version: 1.0.0.0

Info:
The BoutCheetah Settings Editor is a program that allows the user to easily edit registry settings for BoutCheetah.

What it can do:
- Easily switch between Window Mode and Fullscreen
- Change keys used in-game (Skill keys/combos can't be changed)
- Edit in-game options such as sound or graphics quality levels
- Edit Macros (F5, F6, F7, F8)

Anti-Virus Notes:
Chances are, any Symantec anti-virus program will detect this as a virus. (Unsure about other anti-virus programs). As for why, I have no idea. Anything I compile using a Microsoft compiler on my computer is immediately classified as harmful by Norton, even if the program does quite literally nothing. Only so much trust can be shared over the internet, so take my word or leave it: This program will not harm your computer in any way.

If it comes to be a big problem, I'll write up a tut of disabling Norton for certain folders/files.

This program does require administrative access from your computer. It should prompt for administrator on executing.

Also, the .NET framework is required to run this program. If the program doesn't 'work' for you, this is most likely the issue.
Download the .NET framework here (http://"http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en")

This may be included in an update to BC and/or be included in the BC install package.

Edit: I just realized this is my first useful post. coolo

Use the search button, cus I'm not going to ;P.

You kids all worked up about "who had what first". Man...get over it.

What doesn't work? Does it not save correctly, or does the program not open at all and you get an error?

I'm open for feedback, debugging is good.

This is great but auto-ready doesn't work.
Is there any chance you could fix that?

Yes, the .NET framework provided by Microsoft is required to run the program.

Auto-Ready has been disabled in the client for a long time, and we don't have the source code. It's not something we can fix at the moment.

Oh, nope. We're capable of making commands, but the debug mode is client sided. We can't control it using the server.

Microsoft didn't feel like providing direct links. Just Google "microsoft .net framework" and you'll find what you need.

If you try to run the program without it, though, it should ask if you want to install it.
