It's fine the way it is, but another way to say it would be how max said or you could say "Members gain double the amount of experience than non-members". anyways she will change it if she wants or leave it how it is. ;d

Grammar wise it is correct, just sounds weird. Using the "as" is a bad idea, sounds even worse. ::)
Also, being redundant can help in terms of ads. It gets you thinking about it more in terms of wanting to be a member (make it haunt you in ur dreams), and the comparisons between the two sides (enhances the feeling of being a member over a non-member). Plus putting that comparison there makes it completely baka proof. ::)
