Title: 20m gigas for whoever solve this
Post by: frog on November 20, 2012, 06:03:51 PM
i can access all the websites i want except facebook idk why , i called customer service of my internet provider he asked me to do alot of things , none of them helped and he asked me to trance the website so this what i got from it , i probably didn't understand anything so as i said whoever solve this will get 20m prize ^_^

ways i tried:-
1) reseting my router
2) clearing browsers cache
3)trying 4 diff browsers (chrome , firefox , maxthon , opera)
4) troubleshooting the internet connection
5) entering the site using proxy (this made it work but i want to enter normally)

My apologies =/

Well theres still VPN, which I dont recommend but it could still work.

~Edit: Also if your going to try reaching it through IP I think you should try the address that appeared next to the facebook.com when you started the trace.. [67.23.138.126]

Also read into it a bit and other people it happens to it's the ISP and everyone using that provider is down, so check with others near you, and I think theres a website where people report if its down in their city, so check that out too ;o

Don't you know what a trace route is?
Go to www.yourhostingaccount.com (http://www.yourhostingaccount.com)
If you can connect, I'll be 100% mystified.
Your ISP probably has that website blocked. Why the packets for facebook are traveling through that I haven't a clue.

Can your sister go to that url. If she can, you probably have a virus.
If she can't, traceroute facebook from hers. If it doesn't go through that url, you probably have a virus.
