Medicines may take a while to actually start working and be effective to your body and heal symptoms. I guess you should wait several weeks and see if symptoms start to decrease. The best thing to do is to study the medicine you were prescribed by searching the internet.

Really hope you feel better soon. My suggestion is see multiple doctors and research it more see what others have said.
