Ok, so.
My room is a relatively small room. I have my tv all the way over at the window at the other side of my bed. My bed is parallel to the doorway about 5-6 feet away. My computer desk is between the bed and the doorway.
The light switch is near the doorway. My room is completely dark, aside from the computers lighting.
I'm afraid of the dark. I want the light switch on. But I'll have to travel through the darkness to turn it on.
I am in the only lit area of my room. And it's a black darkness if I even turn my head to the right.
I hear things from the opposite side of the room, or just outside it. I see things when I look in the darkness, probably due to my reading horror stories for the past 13 hours. My teddy bear is staring at me and I'm afraid if I move him he'll do something.
What do?

..that being told "Don't look behind you" shouldn't affect me because I have only about a foot of space between me and the wall.
I replied that the lights are off and the wall behind me is the only place of not darkness, but shadow due to the computer's light.

A boy and his girlfriend went out in a remote area of the town to "have some personal time." Later on, the girlfriend said that she was tired and wanted to go home. He said "okay" and went to get out of the car. Then she turned on the radio and heard that this madman was on the loose after breaking free from the local insane asylum.

He said "don't get out of the car and lock the doors. I'll be right back." So she waited for him. And waited and waited. She tried to take a nap but couldn't because she was worrying where he could be. She heard this "tap tap tap" on the window next to her.

She looked, hoping to see her boyfriend's face to let him in. Instead it was this man's face that was dirty and scarred from cuts. His eyes were bloodshot and rolling in his head, laughing. She screamed when she saw her boyfriend's severed head in his hand and a knife in the other. She turned away and heard it was quiet. Thinking he had gone away she looked again. This time was different, though.

This time, he held the car keys in the other hand instead of the knife.

You're sitting at your computer desk, scanning through the /x/ stories on 4chan. You feel your eyes beginning to grow very heavy. Suddenly you notice a pop up in the task bar.

You open it, staring for a minute.

It's a black background, with nothing in it beside the scary ambience. You close the window, thinking nothing of it.

You begin reading the stories, and it pops up again. Irritated, you close it once again. It comes up again. Fustrated, you open it up reach your mouse for the small exit sign.

As you click it, a video pops up. It's of a little girl, no older then 13, rocking back and forth in a rocking chair, head turned to the side so you can't see her face. Then you see a terrifying sight.

She finally turns her head slowly, to see the camera. Her eyes are hollowed back in her head, her jaw is crooked and hanging off, she's pale and her eye colour is a silvery white. She stares at the camera for a good two minutes, until her eyes start dripping blood. You scoot back from your computer, and watch as the little girl slowly stands and walks towards the camera.

The pop up then closes on its own. Terrified, you slowly stand and walk upstairs to your bedroom, hoping to not think anything of it for the night.

You turn on the light.

A little girl in a rocking chair, rocking back in forth can be seen in corner of the room. She slowly turns to look at you.
