Title: i have a network problem
Post by: Iridion on April 27, 2014, 06:34:16 PM
ok so recently my internet speed dropped to extremely slow

at first i thought it was due to the devices connected (even tho its just a recent thing while i always had stuff connected at the same time), so i tried to disconnect every device but my pc but nothing changed

then i thought that maybe someone was leeching off my wifi, so i changed the router wifi's access password to a new one but nothing changed

i tried to run a speedtest and a ping just out of boredom since i didnt think they would show much of a result
my download speed went from 14mbps to 0.34mbps, while upload speed is still stable (0.70mbps)
packets took around 1600ms to send instead of around 30ms to the usual google server

wats wrong with my internet inb4 iri u took a virus via porn and ur ****ed no pls

If you have a hard drive, try taking it and putting it in the freezer for around 30 minutes (it actually works). Make sure to let it warm up a little bit before using it again (give it around 1 hour). Then you should be good to go.

i have also found that if u put it in the blender after it will make your internet speeds as fast as google fiber

Their are many programs to hack the wifi passes, my dad has one on hes iphone and he describes it as: just run it and within 3minutes bam ure in. Also you could have a virus on it but if you're antivirus is safe it wouldn't be a problem tough

Do you have access to your router (by the sounds of it you do) try resetting your router to factory default. You should really contact ISP but I know how annoying that can be. :P
