Event: Defend The Noob
Event Description: Team PvP event open to everyone.
Players will form teams consisting of up to 4 players.
Teams will need to beat the opposing team in a best of 3 to go on to the next round.
Both teams designate one member to be the "noob." This player has to be protected at all costs.
The team that lets their "noob" die loses the match.
Rules: The "noob" is allowed to fight back.
Players may not use II skills or Mobility Boost.
Players may not use the Kowbat trans pack.
Excessive lag/latency will result in disqualification.
If for some reason a player disconnects, the game will either go on without them or be restarted. Judge's call.
Prize: *TBA*

It's an old game that was sometimes played on BOTS!!, anyone up for it? I havent played too many rounds of it but I heard it was pretty popular in 06-07. Since the BvB tournament seems like it may be one-sided atm, why not go with this instead? Everyone would have a fair shot at winning and this'll probably be more fun. It's up for discussion for the rest of the Event Team so if they approve of it, the winners will probably get a special prize. If they dont, I'll go ahead with the tourny anyways but with a smaller prize.

Can I make a slight adjustment to this? I find it could be a very nice idea, and be very fun, however a lvl 100- would die fairly easy under a lvl 200 hit. If Allie truly supports this, could she *pretty pretty plz* (if the judge and jury are convinced of my idea) Make 1 account per team, So that the team's consist of 3 player accounts, which defend 1 account Gifted from the Goddess herself to the wonderful world of Bout.
Basically, Each team registers, says there Accounts and stuff, and they designate there "Noob".
Allie then gives the noob a Password to there noob account. At tournament time only, they log into there account, which is X lvl, with X HP and X trans gauge and X EVERYTHING. The noob account is crafted to perfection and equality, so each "noob" is the same. After the tourny the accounts are then deleted.
The teams can give whatever items they wish to the account for the fight, gear it to perfection, however the BASE "NOOB" is set at lvl x with 10k xp 5k trans w.e. the values, so there all the same, and it requires your 3 other Pro's to defeat the 'noobs'.
What does the community think about this as an Idea? You can develop it how you wish, but i think those would allow for more skill of the 3 Member's PVP ability.

Actually exp rates not quite so perfect,but they're good for high levels...I guess... :-\

I'd be more than welcome to show you the glitch. I made an attempt to explain this to Nick and he either didn't care enough to fix it or simply didn't understand it. This "glitch" is not avoidable in-game, unless you restrict all players from blocking in PvP matches >.>. Given the latter, I'm not sure how to go about not breaking that rule :O.

Possibly. This was privy to only a select few during 09'. I'm not sure how its spread since that point. The mechanism is a bit difficult to figure out...well, it was for me anyway :P.

There were? Early 09', only S_A knew of the glitch. Both I and Saphira sat in a room for about an hour in an attempt to figure it out and finally did and I spread it to the top tier players thereafter. WELL, it could have been earlier...my memory fails me more often than not with both names and dates...
