I have played until gold & silver.
My BT was: Blastoise, Raichu, Dragonite, Gengar, Scizor, Charizard.
My Raichu was a mother f****... it had Surf. I made that tricky using pokemon yellow version and Staduim on N64.

I've never known much about pokemon though I was a fan back in my early childhood. My favorite is probably Darkrai cuz he is awesome, not only in looks.

But he kicks ass in the games. Counter to reverse physical attacks and Mirror Coat to reverse special attacks, any Pokemon that can learn those two moves is instantly badass. Jesse just doesn't know how to use her Pokemon. :P

Well that becuase team rocket is gay fegs Arbok and Weezing would do better with other people
