Team: play as teams
Custom: Players can choose to play as team, but can also play as
independent players.
Teams don't have to be equal, you can 1v6 if you want.
Maybe he meant like,there can be two teams and in the same time other players playing individually.Or have a team of two people and the rest of the players are individual.Etc.
