It doesn't look like that ordinary gelled up hair.
He's hair isn't 'glued' in the shape of thick spikes.

Thnx for the feedback guys, I had hairspray once but it was too strong so I only used it once.. then I threw it away :|
My guess would be styling mouse or wax.
