Quote(CBS) Justin Bieber took to Twitter Wednesday to address reports that he's the father of a 3-month old boy. Although the 17-year-old pop star didn't directly mention the baby daddy allegations, he hinted at the tabloid headlines, writing, "all the rumors...the gossip....Im gonna focus on the positives....the music" -- referring to his new Christmas album, "Under the Mistletoe," released this week.
Later he tweeted, "so Im going to ignore the rumors...and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!

Bieber has been the subject of gossip before, but probably none as jaw-dropping as the latest paternity allegations.
According to "Star" magazine, Mariah Yeater, 20, filed court papers, charging she had sex with Bieber backstage at one of his Los Angeles concerts last year and that he's the father of her newborn child.
Yeater also alleges that Bieber didn't want to use protection because he said it was his "first time." She's asking the court for a paternity test and is also seeking financial support from the Canadian singer. A court hearing in the paternity case is slated for Dec. 15.
Bieber's team fired back at the lawsuit, telling RadarOnline.com, "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations."
Meanwhile, a Bieber insider told People.com the story is hard to believe because Bieber "is never alone. There's always someone with him. He's never met this woman."
One woman Bieber is spotted with a lot these days is his current gal pal, singer-actress Selena Gomez. They went public with their relationship in March.
