It annoys me beyond reason that you guys can never make a proper table.

It's simple html.
<table> signifies the start of a table.
<tr> signifies the start of a row from the table.
<td> signifies the start of a value in the table.
For example, take this.
3 5 8
2 4 7
Before the 3 would be a <table> signifying it's going to be a table, and a <tr> signifying a row is starting.
Then also before the 3 would be a <td> to signify a value. After the three is a </td> to signify the value is ending.
5 and 8 also have the <td></td> because they are a value, not not ending the row.
After the 8 has a </tr> because it is ending the row. Then put another <tr> to signify a new row, and another <td> to signify another value, for the 2.
<td></td> for 4 and 7, then </tr> to signify the second row has ended. Then its the end of the table, so </table>.

For example..

3	5	8
2	4	7
