If we are muted, we can't post anything in the board.
And if we are moderated, you can post only with the approval of a staff.
Warning's just warning.
Also, we can get IP banned and if we're, we can't use the forum anymore. And that's what I think by the "attention" you meant.

And there's just plain old ban (red dot) which I think is pretty much like mute
If you're banned you can't do anything, you can't even view the forums.
Oh, and there's also Verbal warning which is given when you break the rules for the first time.

I was banned once and I still veiwed forum
^There maybe a time limit for the ban. Maybe you only got banned in you're account and not other so, you can still view the forums unlogged.
But, not when IP banned on the forum.
Or you got banned in-game.
No Allie banned me on the forum because I called her something
I was still able to pm Santa and get unbanned ;D
