I enjoy windows mode, but I also enjoy playing it a bit wider.
Widescreen perhaps?
In **** I regedit'd it so I had a height of 600 and width of 1000.

In the windowed mode have you tried both resolutions:
800 x 600
1280 x 960 (HD mode)
They are the 2 sizes that can be done in the launcher, I am not sure how to change the size in regedit if I am correct bout cheetah cannot be changed in regedit...
