at level 50
adamant natured typhloxion: Use flamethrower on vileplume level 45
Modest typhlosion: uses same move on same pokemon
both will die

that proved absolutely nothing.
consider this ..
a lvl 100 typhlosion with a nature that increases special attack and has max special attack EVs and IVs, that attacks with flamethrower does
85%-100% damage to a lvl 100 vileplume with max special defense EVs and IVs and a nature that increases special defense. If the same were to occur but Typhlosion had a nature that decreases special attack, he would only do
70%-83% damage. If the same were to occur but Vileplume had a nature that decreases special defense, Typhlosion would do
103%-122%, a guarenteed 1 hit KO. Dont tell me natures dont matter.
Yes I am a pokemon nerd :-[
errr since this is in game, u won't be seeing a vileplume that badass unless it's in the battle tower lawl
in competitive battling, yeah natures and all that shit matter but not ingame
