When I launch bout cheetah it says " Internet issues have been detected, however, you can still press start to attempt to play.
Pressing start does nothing and rogers online protection says that the file contains a virus. can anyone help me? it has been years since I have play this game and really want to play again.
(later on)
Well after looking into it, the bout.dat file that the patcher downloads is a virus and my computer firewall is quarantining the file. So my question is: is this file going to give a virus to my computer or what. A reply from an admin/moderator would be very helpful to decide if i am going to play this game or not.
its a false positive or something like that
its not really a virus your computer just thinks it is
As Cooky said it's a false-positive. Antiviruses think it's a virus because of the way it is compiled.
To play this game again you only need to add bout.dat as an exception to your anti-virus.
Are you absolutely sure, because I need the computer I am on to play videogames and do school work because all my other computers are shit.
we are 100000000000% positive
someone has yet to come forward with claims that bc contains viruses
If it was a virus you think people would be playing Boutcheetah?
Just think about it.
The best anti virus is a smart user.
