Title: Too OP
Post by: henryboy on September 21, 2012, 02:36:35 AM
I dont know why but im getting pissed at the point that all members are OP. They have Meto guns and elektra +7 sets and Member flags and a huge amount of Hp. If they attack me once it will take me 3-4 hits to even the hp. They have amazing speed o.o and their attack is deadly. Im not saying that you should change anything but atleast realize that we non members are here too. The tier sets for lvl 137 are cool but rlly low stats. Make a tier lvl 157 or somthing so that atleast we can have a Dark surge set type thing in survival. It can be higher damage for bladess set and lower for elektra or other Op sets. I have to say out of all the sets for members there are only two sets for non members. 1- Hallo set, 2- Tier set. Hallo set is good but atleast make the tier set more powerfull than bladess. Please think about us non members as well we also want to pvp in a fair and nice way. :) thx

I been trying to get like a Non-OP tag in PvP that renders DM/Jura/Kow/Tier 3/etc. out of rooms but to no avail.

Hopefully in the future something will change.

^ Regardless, PvP is still unbalanced, thanks to stakes people now feel like it's normal to use Jura and II skills.

You need the take that away so the game doesn't completely make it a plain give-away to people with those items.

Players in Sanct do it, and Silence, I'd expect Silence fegs to, but not Sancturds >___>

Tbh the only thing that really bothers me is Jura/Kow/whatever it's called now. I can handle DM, and Tier 3 is fine, but Jura...

Stake is experimental.
We can make limitations on stakes, as it would be pretty easy to "steal" gigas from players using more powerful gear.
Title: Re: Too OP
Post by: Corr on September 21, 2012, 03:11:34 AM
Or just take the powerful gears away in the first place. That'd be easier.

I like the limit on stakes right now 1-10,000,000 is perfect.

Something about member/zylon flags need to be done too.

@ Misses- Dat lag creates the illusion that they have the stats of those items. >: o

Holloween set is good and all but you need to have alot of gigas to aquire it. I wanted that there could be a level 155 tier set or somthing which whould be almost as powerfull as hallo set. Its a shame that members can use E sets and the best of tier sets. While non members can use lvl 137 sets which it is impossible to get a tier 3 part in. Also they have low hp and lower stats than my +5 bladess set.

Buy member, problem solved.
Stay f2p and kick members from your room.
Be rich, buy hallo set.

Thats not really what I ment. Not everyone can buy memberships :/. You guys should know by now that the non members have nothing to do. They reach 172 and then farm lvl 172 so much and after a while they get bored and quit. Survival has NO point for non members who have reached max level. There's no fun in getting a lvl 148 level tier set :/. We should have some options as well where we too can have fun playing the game. Not just members.

You can buy member once you reach 172.
That's the whole point, you have nothing to do once you reach lvl 172 so you get membership. If there was another system in place that made non-members be pretty much as powerful as members, nobody would bother buying membership in the first place.

make non-op rooms then (no meto, tier 3, kow)

if ur good enough, u can still win even with the 50 lvl disadvantage

Halloween set is as powerful as 196 parts.

best solution but those who started late gotta buy all items individually.

Imo allow ways to get tge hallow set every halloween but with a different item added on to it and diff way of obtaining it
o ya and you shouldnt be able to stake in holo rooms with bugbear/jura transes >_>

Modify button, it's there for a reason.

One day, you'll be a super OP high level too. I understand your side of the topic, but it's not like we didn't earn our level and parts. Level? We spent a huge amount of hours of grinding the same maps over and over again to get the exp needed. Flags? We paid real money to purchase a membership for it, and our level if we're over 172. OP items? We took the time to look out for and play events when they were active, or paid up to $30 for event items.

What I'm trying to say is that it's not really unfair because we kind of 'earned' what we have. As tricky would say, people don't exactly 'earn' items that they pay for, but you kind of do because you pay for it, so it's not like you get it free by giving nothing, if you know what I mean.

The very bitchy / annoying part:
Now, OP items and people will have restrictions because lower level people don't try as hard or pay money.

My friend paid money for hacks on some Shooting games. Judging by your logic it's fair because they paid more money than everyone else.

Non members are UNABLE to spend all that time earning the OP stuff we have, so your logic is kinda hole-ridden. I can wall of text it easily but who can be arsed doin' that lawl

How? They can either grind with their guild, or ask some high level politely for help. How else are there 487 people who are lv 200 or above? They managed to find a way.

172s can't get to level 221, they can't wear Tier 3, they have a harder time getting rares, they are unable to get Member flags and Member sets. The only way of attaining these items is to become a member. Sure that's sort of the point, members are keeping the game alive, but the topic is focused on non-members being too underpowered compared to members. I'm not gonna argue by saying this is true, but I disagree that members have entirely earned their power over non-members - non-members are much more limited to what they can earn. Even the most active player in the world couldn't find a way to match a members speed as a non-member.

I bet tons of people would like memberships. Problem is, they're not allowed to.

Members pay for their benefits etc and they keep the game alive, but that doesn't mean that we should be this underpower, it would be awesome if free to plays could reach lvl 200 although this will not happen.

Ok what i wanted to say is that even if you have all OP shit as a free to play you still have much more weakness and stand no chance against an average member pvper, even if it is some suckish player they still have more damage, hp and speed etc, this definitly gives us a much lower chance to win in pvp. This is why i like the suggestion from MisteZ adding a {maxXXX} lvl tag for pvp and bvb or a {mem} tag to auto kick all members from the room and make the game fair and based on skills and not on benefits bought for $$
