I just tested this, the 2nd member in your guild (nothing to do with co-lead or GP) gets leader when the leader quits
fix this so that the first co-leader gets dis.

Misc. Admin doesn't necessarily mean he's a programmer.
so the dude who is ranked 2nd in a certain guild, gets to be the leader of that guild if the leader quits?

no, the first person you have invited will get leader
it's based on an order of joining

ohh.. k..
i guess the one who had obligation of this is Red... idunno but he has Red on his name.. he's the programmer of BC.. hahaha
I think when the leader quits the leader should be able to give it to one of the co-leaders. It shouldn't be to the first co-leader because how about the first co-leader is inactive? For example: Opti became co-leader before me, but he is inactive.
In other words there should be an opinion of what co-leader you want to give.

that's too difficult and way more work then just
demote opti
demote selene
promote selene
promote opti
this makes you first and you'd get leader, and is a much better option
I like the idea.
+1

What if the guild is full of members and co-leaders, you'd have to kick a member before doing it?
Just a question, I haven't tested it nor read it in the announcements.
