i tried selection to path and then stroked along that path with black, but it didnt work ;\

Tainted, make the top line black and it will look fine. Also, try putting the text somewhere else, near the handle of his katana would look nice.
Just make it go with the flow of the background and keep the colour light and it will look much better.
its awesome - get rid of the stupid text and place it on the white lines above his shoulder (because that is the main flow, mmic ::) )
