tried it, but then the text becomes unreadable.
also tried bevel embross stuff but that didn't work out either.

did you try playing around with the settings ? (making it larger , more focused etc..)
also glow might work
bevel usually sucks
awesome, could use some work on focals. and gradient maps could help.
