I once heard kenny talking about this, if your internet disconnects it will move you to the log in screen, I may be wrong, but that is what I think it is.

does it happen consistently if it doesnt than it happens

This happens when your internet disconnects and is not able to re-connect for a certain period of time. I changed this so it returns to login screen instead of closing client.
