I believe removing anyone who has > 90% wins, simply because it's not possible without farming.

The only way it would be fair to remove them from the rankings were if they had a botting program to automatically boost up their rank using 2 clients.  Spending time farming however, is not a legitimate reason in removing someones rank.

allie liking =/= working, maybe it would turn useless

imo people dont play base, and wouldn't play if there were higher rewards, because sector is way easier for obtaining stuff and pvp is more widely known and people are too "lazy" or distracted to try base

Can still be farmed to a point, with 2 people and alt accounts (ex: Ross beats Neo's alt (new lv 1 account) until Ross gets 1100 points, Neo then deletes it and creates it (back to 1k points), Ross goes on his alt  account and loses to Neo's alt raising it to 1100 points, Ross then restarts his alt goes on main and beats Neo's alt account until he has 1200 points. Still ruins non-competitive and spectating in BvB/PvP (people suicide to watch a game), and causing people to exit before it is over. once you get so high in ladder losing to a lower ranked person wont affect their stats or yours, even if they legitimately beat you. This can cause some lopsided rankings, and is not a fully accurate depiction on skill, more like picking the players you fight / the team you have. Also considering BvB and team PvP would be more than just 1v1, how would it work if you win/ lose if the points are all over the place, as it not only depends on you, but your team and the opponents. If a team is good enough to win a 4 vs 3 a nub can just hang around and get points (Pig.)  ::)

It is slightly better though, but is still majorly flawed, and not worth it, aka why Allie said she would do her own version.

Seems to Ross Allie did not fully agree with it, and will modify it.  ::)



How does it count as a Win for Pig (vs Ross)? Ross simply asked what Pig would suggest, Allie agreeing or not does not matter as it was not like Ross and Pig were competing for ideas and Ross' idea lost.


Also what a bad ranking system you are using there Cooky, you should of used:


Pig: 1010
Ross: 990

But nonetheless, it is wrong.  ::)

At the very least, a BvB ladder would (well, should...) ONLY count for 3v3 and 4v4 because those two show who has the most skill.

Idk if this would be in any way helpful but how about making separate rankings for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 bvb? And perhaps disable rankings for uneven teams?

If a ladder were to be implemented, it should only count for 3v3 and 4v4 matches.
