ok listen i have this weird problem
i have a few rails in a single player words, with 1.6.2 version.
i have one block above the line to determine direction, then 6/7 powered rails (powered with a redstone torch) to give the cart the initial boost then normal rails
on line A, the setup works fine
on line B, built 5 blocks further, the cart starts moving but goes extremely slow, like there were no powered rails, and will eventually continue like this if it meets other powered rails
in line A tho the same setup works well
how 2 fix pls?
Try starting off with the minecraft on a non-powered rail, and have a button to turn it on. Have the powered rail on an angle. If that doesn't work, try starting off with a regular rail and push your cart onto a powered rail that's on.
forgot to say, the lines on the center of the pic work perfectly, the line on the left doesnt

doesnt work
this is the setup:

as you can see on the right, there is another line built in the same exact way
any way i start the cart, it goes at ery low speed, and starts slowing down. powered rails seem to have no effect on the cart (there's one powered rail every 40 blocks, and the cart stops at around 60 blocks from the start thus passing on one powered rail)
why is one of the tracks red and the other not?
