Is it good is it worth getting?
Im planning to get one (i know ps4 is close to coming out but i rather wait a few years you know ps4 gets cheaper and more games)
i heard it was **** though (mixed reviews)?
does the super slim model have problems
some people has had constant freezing etc so if you have one can you tell me if you have experienced any problems with it
I am kinda pessimistic about this thing

wait till ps4 ::)
I still have my old trusty 60 GB, the first model they came out with
plays ps2 games too :D
i don't have a super slim but my friend does and we play Blops2 and when we play it always freeze on him or restarts. so I suggest just getting a regular one
I searched up the super slim the cheapest I found was $349.96
the price of a regular one is like $100-$250

I'm jelly D:, I got a 65GB second gen, so I can only play ps2 games that have been ported and placed in the store :(
However I'm not too bothered because they have all the games I need in the store
Seek and Destroy, ratchet and clank trilogy and Jak trilogy :3

You don't really need 500gb to be honest, I've got a 65GB and thats more than enough, however you can get the PS3 Slim 250GB, and when I used to have a slim which I had for 3 years I had absolutely no problems with it.
more gb the merrier lol

Only super slim in production? ???
Won mine for 1$ on a stacker arcade game.
PS3 Slim, 120GB.
Ran perfectly for like 3 years, with a freeze like once every month, nothing special.
Never crashed or broke, in fine condition.
Running out of free space after 3years now, i have to keep deleting games if i want a new one.
(I have bought games through psstore, which take up alot of my space, and i play A LOT of games, so most people have far less GB needed than me)

that's mine btw

Lol I was joking, and if they've been refurbished it's probably because they were crap in the first place, based on what max has said I'm sure he'll agree with me that the normal slim is your best option
what if the refurbished one breaks

Oh I see sorry I misread, I thought you said you only found refurbished super slims, have you tried looking in places other than gamestop like amazon etc.? Btw if they've been refurbished all it means is that they've been fixed up because they were old, so they're basically new ones.

IDK what refusbished means, but an old slim model will do.
If refubished means renew, then still get an old one if you can.
Cause mine sure didn't have to be renewed in 3 years, so i can only imagine pushing the price or adding shit into it, maybe even put something inside that crashes the ps3 after 1year. Companies do that you know

Well I completely agree with Max.
i had the very first model, it was perfect but unfortunately it went ylod on me
so i bought one of the latest model (not the newest kinda-gay chassis) and i use it as a console: insert the disc and play, turn it off; works like a charm
