I was wondering and talking to Medchill about the level cap that is in-game.
Why not remove the level cap, and allow it so that players can just level, and level.
Why should this be implemented?
Simply for bragging rights, and showing players how much of a "Sector King" you are, and how much a person may enjoy grinding.
Main idea to this?
For non-members, they'll have the level cap of 224-225.
But for members, just use the experience from level 269-270, and let it repeat itself, but after 270 no Stats gained, etc, Just the level itself.
Any comments, feedback, suggestions? Drop it below.
if no stats are gained I don't think anyone will bother trying to level up past 270 especially considering how long it would take

I sure as hell would, It's mainly bragging rights, plus, I'd go to level 666, or 777 and just stop.

Nobody is gonna play this game long enough to get to level 400, let alone 666/777.

This game would be dead before you reach 666.

and even if they did there's no benefit of it
why go to level 700 if a lvl 270 has the same stats

It's true. Also, why get to lvl 270 if there's no new content in the game after 225?
I guess this idea was a big no no

there will be though
I honestly considered just raising the cap when we broke the 255 barrier, but the major downside that stopped me from doing it was that it removed the specialness that raising the level cap in the future will have.
If we ever decide to further raise the level cap beyond 270, there will be people who are already (theoretically, albeit unlikely) 300. although we're already seeing that issue with allowing experience to grind farther than max level (which I truly hate, but it's a required feature in our community), at least you get that special moment when you login to a level higher than you were previously, and can now clear content easier than you were yesterday.
in spite of my rambling, i hope you get the point. i originally thought it'd be an awesome idea, but nonetheless decided against it.

We raise about once every year or two. To keep things fresh.
This year's the first time we took awhile rolling out sectors along with the level update.
Mostly cause i originally expected more than just our raid team attempting 235.
