somebody sent me 100$ on paypal a few days ago
on his end it says 'processing' and on my end I have not received anything
any idea how long this might take or what this could mean?
it takes time for it to go through
they may be doing fraud detection, or a red flag may have come up
just wait for it m8

Yes today is Monday so it's probably on it's way or preparing.
When processing electronic debit /credit payments it takes 3-7 business days.
It would have only been instant on paypal if it was from an existing balance or if it was withdrawn directly from a bank account.
ok thanks..

rly cause i've used a debit card multiple times to pay people, not a company, and it went through within 24 hours.
I've also been payed by a debit card and received it within 24 hours.

not really trying to go in-depth, but more-so give a reasonable time line since he obviously didn't get it within 24hours. It also depends bank to bank. My bank usually does it instantly or within days, but a lot banks and credit unions follow the 3-7 business day rule as well as some savings accounts, credit lines, and so forth. ::)
95% of payments are instant, the only 5% include: random fraud checks(Whenever the sender verifies their paypal account is legit), e-checks(7 days to process), or they sent it from once of those card you can buy at walmart to refill(takes few days probly)
