Just brainstorming.. and thought of what it might be like if TD was replaced by HP. So those with full TD will still be more of a defensive type, but they wont be able to just sit there tanking 0 damage hits and (for some) ruining pvp.
What do you think? The items would be rebalanced, not just replacing the stats. For example a +50 TD might change to +100 HP or something.
-1, full TD is 1050 and since you will have more hp, it will affect the difficulty of a player to kill a TD'd patch also as untransed..
and what will patches have?
no speed and no Trans gauge.

Patches would have more HP obviously

thats the kind of "extreme" solution (eg the various wipes) that have always been taken over reasonable solution

PvP will always be surge dominated regardless of nerfs or buffs (besides by massively underpowering surges and making them useless). BvB is a game mode where the bot types can actually be balanced effectively; however "transferring" TD to HP doesn't really solve any problems because you're not lessening the number of hits a bot can take. Besides, the goal of balancing would be to ban +4 gear, so surges cannot effectively stack both a high TD and a high TG value.

well if you replaced TD with HP then patches would take
a lot less hits from bosses and stuff because they wouldn't be getting hit for 0 damage. They would have to actually use strategy to kill it without taking much damage instead of just letting the stat block all the damage.
