How come there are so many demeaning words to call a woman, and barely any for guys?? Idk what made me think of this, but srsly...
(By demeaning I mean that to me it feels like the root of the word really only talks about the sexual appeal of his/her body)
For women:
Chick
Sugar
Broad
Hottie
Babe (when speaking of someone you don't know)
Wench
Broad
Dame
Plus a bunch that aren't PG so I shouldn't post :-/
For men:
Hunk
That's literally all that comes to mind, although I'm sure there are more...
It's pretty much accepted, and ppl don't think about it often, but this seems really wrong to me...
women - sugar
please explain why

None of those are demeaning tho. They're friendly and don't just mean that a man looks hot.
@qolder sugar is only demeaning if talking to someone you aren't in a relationship (hey sugar, get me a sandwich)

O.o who uses those anymore. Especially wench lol.
Broad and dame, not so much. They just came to mind. I see wench being used jokingly these days tho, especially with some of my less mature friends that are still in high school, lol
down under it's a sin to have women on your FB because we see them as inferior
