Title: 2014 block busters
Post by: JustRK on April 01, 2014, 04:00:20 PM
So what are your favorite movie genres and what movies have you recently watched or are looking forward to now that many have trailers released for them?

Recently saw divergent and it was great   ;D captain America comes out this Friday woo. I tend to like most action dramas and romcoms

Didn't wanna revive the other topic since it's not as relevant now :p

I searched for it on my iPhone and it didn't filter for me so I posted this one in spam in hopes for a decent thread to shift away from what it previously was this morning  :P

OT: looking forward for Amazing Spider-Man as well  ;D I like Emma stone. I'll probably wait for need for speed to release on DVD / redbox as my friend also told me it wasn't worth the money to see in the cinema hah

Dude get HD torrent.

I have a jailbroken Apple TV 2 so I can watch without having to risk torrenting on my laptop and watch on my TV, but I also like to share the $1 DVD I rent with my friends so they can see it too when they have time so we can talk about it  ;D

I'm glad someone agrees the movie was great  ;D

Though after four and tris are exiled later on in the 2&3rd books it gets kind of boring so I actually am hoping they add some flare if they choose to make movies out of those.

The first book really did a good job pulling me in  :). I think a lot of the reason why people say literature is greater than their cinematic counter parts is due to the fact that they can visualize their own outlook of how the characters look, move, etc as opposed to accepting the directors point of view. Though I normally enjoy both book and movie about the same since I don't like to read a whole book in one sitting while it's expected that a movie flow and be finished in give or take 2 hours  :P

and it is for that reason that books have a ton of stuff more than the movie, and when you watch the movie after reading the book it feels awfully empty
