Title: Altar system
Post by: Pein on May 11, 2014, 04:08:23 AM
People could donate their crap to random people. There will be a 'altar icon' in lobby for donating and whoever wants can donate anything such as items, gigas, coins etc. Those who want to recieve the donation can join into this system instantly unlike the guild system. Everyone can donate their items & stuffs and they will be accumulated and stored in the donation bank. Players will recieve 5 (or something) items randomly each day only if they had logged in that particular day.

I don't think people would donate many things (especially good things) if they don't have any way of knowing who its going to

it could go to someone they don't like or someone no one likes, who doesn't deserve it

if people are giving something away they can give to their friends, or announce in lobby and give to someone who whispers them

but the idea of making a random donation just isn't going to be very popular with players, and the only things donated will be bad items no one wants

-1, people like vish who don't even need items. Would just abuse this to get more crap which they don't need.

Put a donation value on every item. Say, for example, an attackbot v3 could have a value of 200, while a breakfall 100 use could have a value of 10, and a breakfall <100 use could have a value of 1. It'd take a lot of initial work, but definitely doable.
In reality though, this isn't happening. There's a *much* better chance of a lottery system than a donation system. It's just a bad idea.

On from the lottery suggestion ^ How about if players were able to purchase tickets for gigas/coins and then every week one ticket would be the winning one, and the player whom owned the ticket would receive 50% of the total input of gigas/coins and the other half would be removed from the game ?

This was an intended update last october. It was scrapped because we felt the effort made to create it wouldn't be worth the end result. In other words, we thought only like 5 people would use it anyway.

Didn't even try.
You people just assumed the outcome?or No one was motivated enough?

In any business the value of in-game updates has to be evaluated before implemented.
It was decided within staff that no one would use it. So it was never released.
