Title: too many ads what do

they just appeared from nowhere, i didn't install anything
i used adblock, hoping it will help, but it didnt

also when sometimes i click somewhere it opens me a new window with a survey or something

dl avg
close firefox
restart pc in safemode and scan
virus gone
re-open firefox


see if its still there. If so, turn on adblock+

Download anti-malware anti bytes, run a scan see the results.
Have you downloaded anything where you just pressed through the installer, you might have downloaded a malware like speedmypc or something that took over your browser.

ok so, apparently i have totalplushd here (thx to malware bytes) and some other things, but i cant delete it with ccleaner or from the folder

The browser (either it was Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera i used any of those) opened out of the nothing with 10x ad windows, the triple of the ads that qolderman showed, everytime i clicked a link a ad poped out in a new window.
Fixed by rebooting it with a windows cd. 3 hours later i read this topic.
