Title: Question.(Sea critters)
Post by: Materger on April 05, 2015, 11:06:04 PM
Does a human need the ability to breath under water to be considered a sea animal?  Would saying, "humans can't breath under water" be a good argument as to why they're not sea animals or can not be sea animals? Please answer seriously.

To classify a human as a sea animal I believe that person does have to be able to breathe underwater.

Nope, just spend a majority of their life submerged or associated with water.

There are a lot of animals that can't breathe under water yet we classify them as marine life just because they simply associate with water as their most convenient way to migrate, hunt, etc

Just to keep the answer short and simple  ;D
