If you know the rules then why break them. Adding bump wouldn't help. You could copy your first post, delete it and then put in whatever it is you want to add thus only having 1 post and also get to say what you want to say.
Double posting and being off topic are allowed in spam does that mean they should be allowed in important information.

1. If there is a bump rule in the marketplace then it's for the marketplace not for other sections. Again with the spam section example. We shouldn't change the spam section rules just because they don't apply to other sections.
