Title: "OP" fixes.. {stk} and possibly {c}?

This isn't exactly a suggestion topic, as it's sort of confirmed to happen.

Now that we have {stk} released, and EXP upped in PvP, a lot of people are abusing every OP item they have to get the win - even though their skill is miniscule compared to others with less powerful items. I'm sure we've all been experiencing this.

{c} or some other tag name will be used to halt the use of OP items. Some people may think we have stolen this idea from somewhere but really it's more than necessary at the moment, with Kowbats and Juras in every PvP room you can find.

Here is a list of OP items that I think should be blocked with the {stk} and {c} tag. I'd love some feedback, opinions and items you want blocked as well.
-Kowbat
-Jura
-Bugbear Shop Trans (Codered)
-Dark Meto
-GM Set
-Member Flags
-Zylon Flags
-Perm Jack Head
-S EF
-P EF
-R EF
Rush II
Upper II
Ion II
Mob Boost
Charge II
Death Hunter (merc)
Double Blade (merc)
Xabaras (merc)

Tier 3 armor should be allowed, because if you put up a non-skilled player in T3 vs a very skilled player who's 172, the lvl 172 would still have much more of a chance at winning. Items like Jack and Member flags are what makes it difficult to take down a higher level - that's just my opinion anyways.

Anymore suggestions?

Disregarded. You can use your rares in non competitive rooms or Sector rooms, rather than breaking the competitive play of the game.

If it wasn't OP, people wouldn't use it. But thanks for your opinion anyways, if enough people want it to remain unblocked then it won't be blocked.

Jack Head should stay, not so OP.
S/P/R E.Fs should stay since Member Flags will be gone, a little boost wont kill.

Dunno but i heard Double Blade is bad in base but if its OP then keep it.

Rest is fine.

I think people use it because it has good stats, as well as being a really cool and unique head.

Tbh the things I hate the most are Jura, Kow, and II skills, but as a non-member, I'm fine with banning as many items as possible! xD

I agree to everything, and bobo I think itd be quote dumb to block tier3 too, reason is that it gives bonus xp.. :p

I'm only using T3 for the EXP bonus tbh >_> So are a lotta ppl including Ret. So what you're perceiving as my logic isn't what my logic actually is at all.

thats hilarious cuz t3 has a bigger speed advantage over elektra +7 as well as the fact that you can do 700s with an active I skill.

no, imo the exp is just icing on the cake.

Ofc. T3 is slightly more powerful than Elektra, I never said otherwise. So is the strongest set always = OP?

Removing T3 from {stk} and {c} would also mean killing the bonus in PvP basically, so that's a bad idea imo.

idk I get why it'd be a bad thing to ban it but then again it is cheap exp/gigas already >_<

Anything apart from a flag, shoulder and shield with TD is OP imo.

Lots of people I know are just using it for the EXP bonus. /repeated for the 3rd or so time.

may be one of the reasons but definitely not the biggest one.

its the strongest set in game. i think it'll take more than an exp bonus to overlook that fact <_>

I dont agree with this idea as whats the point? Some people worked SO HARD just to collect this rare items especially to play pvp using it, and some noobs collects this rare items just to be able to stand a chance to play against skilled players too, i am one of them.Doing this is totally destroyed their hard work they have put into this game and giving some people that didnt do anything to get benefits. So, whats the point for collecting this items for those people then? And the word "PVP" is player against player for one reason, its to see their skills and items they use to fight against each other, not restrict all the so called "OP" items so everyone is the same. If thats the case, might as well dont introduce any unique items and make sure everyone can get the same items so that its fair.

Agreed with Z. You can still use those items you "worked so hard for" (aka bought with real money...) in non-competitive rooms and sector rooms.

Agreed with Z. You can still use those items you "worked so hard for" (aka bought with real money...) in non-competitive rooms and sector rooms.
Errr Tricky, one thing to clear your ideal of my items. Some of the items wasn't bought using real money by me i earned them myself .

Did you "earn" Jura? The item that only exists in the game because of real money? That's one of the worst items that we are trying to ban here.

I am just mentioning Jura as it's one of the more important items. You can use that in Sector, or non competitive rooms. Items like this will definitely be banned from {c} and {stk}.

Don't see why you'd block anything else but II skills/ jura/ kow and maybe dark meto.
Most of the other items can be bought by new people that actually do something instead of qqing all day long on the forum about how op the items are.
But I see the point, nobody is forced to make or play in a {c} room.

Main reason is because its unfair to those who earned them. They are quite expensive you know, so it's disappointing not being able to use them in PvP. Unless this is changed, -1.

Probably the only reason I log onto BC is to PvP. I also have a membership, so I'd like to make sure it gets used well. This wouldn't be true if member flags were removed in PvP. Also, I want to actually do something with my future TopGuild flag.

No one is forcing you to play in {c} or in {stk}. They are paying for items they can use in non-competitive rooms and sector rooms.

I don't think darkmeto should be in the list, ik it's op but the hits you do with darkmeto are the same with a normal rush hit, also hitting somebody with a gun is much harder then hitting him by normal attacks.

I like this except:

Metowings should be banned (No way should a Ram/Patch be able to outrun a lv172 Surge if they have these wings)

Jackhead (Doesn't give THAT much of a boost, mine has TG, and frankly I still untrans roughly the same time as my opponent maybe by 3 seconds which doesn't much a difference if you're a slow patch. I'm personally fine without using Jackhead but I really like it in terms of style. Kinda hate to see that leave my bot D:

In conclusion, 1 year jackheads, allowed, permanent, GTFO with caps and oreos.


I think the bonuses in exp if you have Tier sets should be depleted, what's the point of them anyways? Give stat boosted items boosted exp? Da faq kinda logic is that lol

defs op items like jura/codered should be gone from any form of {c} rooms though

Elek +7 is only a little less powerful than T3, should we remove Elektra? Then should we remove Dark Surge & so on?

GM set was NEVER lvl 1 stats. It had lvl 48 (or 58) stats in BOTS.

It should be banned, because it has Elek +7 variety of stats. TD Arms (or RA), Evade Head, TA body.
