The reason it probably to let the OP know that he doesn't care and that others might not care either. Like me for example it makes no difference to me if he's online because I don't go ingame.

He could but he doesn't have to. Just like you could have said that his post was inappropriate in a nicer way.

So did he, that was his opinion. Anyway I just get enjoyment by pointing out others peoples flaws probably to hide my own (aka projection).
