Title: BOTS Intro Video!
Post by: bradster65 on July 29, 2015, 07:32:52 PM
Finally got round to making an intro video for the YouTube channel of BOTS.

This can be found at http://youtu.be/0bJTl6jkdq8 (http://youtu.be/0bJTl6jkdq8)

I'd really appreciate a like and sub for the work and time and effort and money I put into this.

Thanks Blade!

I record with 2 devices HDPVR and Elgato.

I edit with Mirillis Action

I create Intro's with Blender or Sony Vegas Pro 13

This is a video with the intro edited with music!

Don't mind the dubstep! So far it's only a little intro since people was asking for one.

I do currently have a professional Editor / GFx working on a proper one but he is playing BOT's to record clips for the intro. Should look 100x better when he has done it.

Here is the link to 1) our new Series started by me and GM Michael and 2) the full intro with music

Do you mean VFX specialist? Because GFX is slang for graphics... seeing its a video, it'd be more appropriate for a VFX specialist?

I meant to put video Editor / GFx instead of Editor / GFX.

Still though, a Gfx is an image.. haha not video animations :P,  Gfx Specialist/Designer are a graphics specialists. Unless you're hiring a picture, then sure ._.

My constructive criticism:

If you have SV13 then why is your intro rendered super LQ in like 480p? It looks fuzzy and the styling is kinda weird.

Your video is like 30min, but why? Seeing that length watching the same thing and listening to the same kind of music makes me want to only watch like 10 seconds before i skip to the end. Cut out unnecessary portions aka waiting rooms, start screens, etc.

Add commentary if possible. Road to (insert name here). You're gonna wanna explain it because anyone knows you can mindlessly grind to any level.

Lastly why waste money on paying someone else to do it lmao. You can't even record the game in high def so unless youre using the game as a small feature it's going to look ghetto or stretched out. You could seriously learn how to make a decent intro and video content in like 1 hour as you've already got the programs.
