The only semihard-difficult thing BC has is raid and that's for players above 221-235

It is so easy to level up anyway there are more and more lv 235+ players now.

Have you ever heard of 235 raid? It is practically so hard everyone quit it and simply waiting for it to be nerfed (/excluding Ross' team.)  ::)

Besides that is what Raid is meant for, challenging Sector content. The normal sector levels will continue to be grind-able.

why is raid the only difficult thing, especially since it's only 235 (a member only feature)

ALL F2P play is **** and there's no replay value.

Because if the sector levels were difficult everyone would quit "omg too hard."  ::)

Ranking by how far you get in it? But story is ez to complete. All you would need to do is beat it once. If it is done by total clears, that is just buu, waste of time. Ranking set by yet more endless grinders.

//Needs to have ranking done by who complete story the fastest. (Altho it would just be hackers, but oh well.)  ::)

Ross im on your team thats why. I would get this going but i know that you need the best of the best in the current state that map is in

Ross understands you are on his team, and hopes you will come to the one on Saturday (it is in 17.5 hours from this post.)

Regardless of that it was more of less directed to everyone.

"Know that you need the best of the best in the current state that map is in. "

That needs to change. More players should get more skillful in order to do it. Instead they just ignore such a mode until it is nerfed to their liking and current ability. They lack the will for a challenge, and to get good at something. They are just mindless grinders that do not use their head.Ross understands that in order to do it at it's current state requires skillful people. That is the whole point of Raid, sadly no one lives up to it and instead waits for it to be a normal dull sector-level skill-wise situation. They don't use their heads to think of a plan, or new tactics to use. Never mind find new break-though techniques like CC.  ::)

Keep in mind this is not necessarily due to you saying you are waiting, however what you said is true for 99% of this community. They are all like that, your post more or less just brought it up, and Ross took the opportunity to say this.

Suggestions / Re: Nerf TD in PvP

As Lyfe said GC can be a great advantage against a blocking patch, over any other skill. GC hits harder than any other (non II) skill in 1v1. However GC is not as big as Lyfe is taking it. The range of GC is meh. It is basically the same as stun, and upper (horizontial wise, not vertical.) Because horixontally they are nearly the same it makes up for the sorta small hit box as long as your not dumb. Lag and lag+rush is a big fear for GC.. A person with GC would most likely block the run and hit with a GC. However a laggy person would just break though that def, making it harder for GC to land a hit. And even if they do land a hit, with lag you get get out of it after 1/2 hits (never mind mobility boost.). Another problem with it is that, it is rather hard to hit, kinda like stun. As long as you play it safe and smart you will avoid the GC. Of course keep in mind Patches are not that nimble. Another flaw in it is a ffa with 3+ people. " GC hits harder than any other (non II) skill in 1v1." In a ffa you can't stack GC as much as you want to get the full 4 hits most of the time. As some nub will come running in. Anyways GC has it's advantages and disadvantages.

Now going onto TD:

WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING IS TO TAKE EVERY TD ITEM AND DEVREASE IT BY LIKE 20-30%!!!!

No cause then you wouldn't be able to get cap TD in sector mode.

Rather sad to see that from you. Please stop this "omg max TD for sector crap." There is one of the reasons is a limited amount of good players nowadays. They simply hide behind a barrages of 0's.

Ross agrees that TD must be limited. A Surge / Ram can stack up to 755 TD. Which is way too much of an advantage to them. The max TD a person can reach should be more like 600-800 for a Patch.

Just to note the problem is not the Patches in PvP / BvB. Surges still dominate PvP / BvB. Ram owns in Sector, and depending on the mobs and map, patches have their time to shine with TA. Sadly tho everyone is TD. Ross has sorta accepted that fact but hates it. He accepts it because he knows others will fail without it.  ::)

Im going to wait till Ross's Team beats it so it will be easier for us to get rt2!

So sad this community. Oh well, everyone is allowed to wait, but kinda sad that no one besides Ross' raid team have put in a serious effort into beating it in the current state it is in. Instead they all just wait for the nerf.  Sector these days. .-." ::)

Ross makes a good point. Let's lower exp for lower levels like he said. Better fix
I'm pretty positive i said that but i could be wrong.

Quote from: Rossbach on January 24, 2014, 09:42:38 PM
Currently if you play sector lv 258 on a lv 268 (lv is 10 higher than the sector level) it will half your exp gain. It needs to be changed for it you are say 10 levels lower than the sector map level, the exp is slightly lower. (It will build up every 10 levels.) Then players have more intensive to not leech, and to play at sector levels near their level. Would also slow down hackers a bit. ::)

Your idea is basically the same as Ross'. Except his is more detailed on levels.  ::)

Didn't something like that get put into the game before already? During the time when people where hacking 219 and getting max xp from it so kenny put a level cap on 1 level per game? only for like 1-3 days or something like that. But i remember, and it sucked.

^ Who EVER complained about the difficulty of leveling. Game 2 EZ.

+1 I can level myself to lvl 200 in like an hour or less just by soloing 258 lmao.

Before the new maps and the max level being 270, everyone was complaining about it being too hard to level and simply waited for the new maps. A year+ ago when Allie halved all the exp rates, people complained it was too hard to level.

Level 200 from what level? Lv 199? ::)

Anyways as Ross said before this "1 level per game," is not the best way to go about this as a fix. Ross agrees something has to be changed, but not by doing this.
