Dunno about that. Soundcloud never had an audio check until recently (past 1-2 years), and only does popular songs dealing with big labels.

YouTube on the other hand, has no mercy whatsoever. It gets so bad that even if you have a sample of a copyrighted song in a track that's completely different from the original, it still gets flagged through the content ID system. You can only rebuttle it after you've been flagged. Don't think either services care what you put in your description because as far as they know, if it truly meets that criteria it won't get flagged in the first place. And if it does, there's the rebuttal system (which is ****) for the 0.1% of times that actually happens for whatever reason.

on yt you used to be able to get away with a lot though in like 2010 when i started uploading

edit: just wanna give huge praise to RK who i feel was an undisputed winnerr in his respective award this year, although not always seeing eye to eye with RK only with community issues i feel he, cooky and oreos dedicated a lot of time and effort to the staff team and RK in particular attempted more than what was expected of him
