Title says it all, he is literally a giant SCV from Starcraft

So I've spend countless hours playing the original BOTS and lots of Boutcheetah back in the day :') but I soon found other games but I'm back to play the game of my childhood once again. A few things worth mentioning:
-I knew Cookie before he was popular
-and Wezzy and Sasuke until they unfriended me
-Gotta love the first version of bc where you'd level 32 times in one game
-Yes Optimism (if you're even staff anymore) I still have your pvp video
-4 years and I'm still wondering what Allie looks like.
-Yz believe it or not you got me interested in DJing when I heard some knife party mix you made yonks ago
-Has anyone else ever seen Spiderstar's glitch compilation from <2010  

Anyways a huge shoutout to everyone who helped build and sustain Boutcheetah to this day, who made the game way more fun and competitive than BOTS. See everyone online

All games have their lifespan, and while I share some spectacular memories with BC it is becoming very outdated.

Bots was the game of my childhood in 2008 and 9, and I've been a supporter of BC ever since. It's honestly a great unique game I would never want to see close, but sometime down the track when the servers can't be supported it will end.

I recently heard BC has an active playerbase of 300 players. If this is true then Zylon is skimming low.

How much longer do you think the servers will hold out until the players cannot supply enough money for the servers to run?

I need to play this game as much as possible before it's too late...

Congratz man, we haven't talked in ages (he's been on my friends list for most of the time I had bc) but I'd just like to say gj on being on the front page =)

I read that in order to buy snowballs from the shop, you need to complete certain achievements in Sector mode. However, after recently logging on, collecting my daily gift and heading to the shop to look at the new items, I realised that without even playing a game in any mode I was able to buy snowballs from the shop (under the 'Special" tab). No, I have not bought any (and don't want to anyway).

I am able to purchase them by spending either gigas or coins.

The experience gained per game in BOTS really needs to be changed, as maps 5 - 70 only give 25 exp (unless elite). No way I'm going to level up on that. I understand you guys are busy with improving Boutcheetah and all, but when you have the time I hope this gets 'fixed' eventually. The reason I posted this on Boutcheetah is because the forums are not yet complete on the BOTS website.

Finally, I made this a separate topic from the one in 'Off Topic' because that was to ask about the exp rate, this is to suggest it's improvement (before Nucleaon targets me again  ).

I know this doesn't exactly refer to Boutcheetah, but I couldn't find the proper forums on the BOTS website. Question is, are maps Training Camp through to HeatCORE1 supposed to all give 25 exp? When does the exp rate change?

I'm level 9 so I don't know what the higher map's exp rates are.

I was playing in PvP room 1 today (50k stake, Hoverbyte City) with Trustz and some other dude, and before we started playing I believe I saw three people (me, Trustz and the other guy). As we got into playing (we had no items equipped), A person called NiceKorea! appeared in our game and I pressed enter to ask how he had appeared, but I pressed the wrong button (I don't think this has anything to do with this) and the next thing I know I'm flying over the map - lava and everything and I can barely see my character. Surprised, I don't touch anything and my BOT begins moving down-left and falls into the lava he was standing around. What the hell just happened!?

Notes: I may have been wrong about starting the game with three people only, but I HIGHLY doubt it because the rule was we had to unequip everything, and the person was Korean so I don't think he would have understood what he was tryign to say, and Trustz wouldn't have started the game with someone who had not taken off all of their parts.

The worst thing that could happen would be that someone accuses me of glitching and using NiceKorea as an excuse. I'm honest.

I am NOT saying that NiceKorea hacks.

Edit: Trustz said he kicked NiceKorea before we started the game, but he appeared in the game anyway.

Around the time before Acclaim's BOTS shut down, I began to name-glitch in the lobby and make my name GM Kewl and gave out some of the so-called 'Season 2' items. Does anyone still remember?

I think I saw another thread like this somewhere else, but I have absolutely no idea where it is, and it's probably like over a year old. I'm not even sure it exists. But anyway...

What were your in-game names and BOT types in Acclaim's BOTS? Mine was hdfbgrtr, a Ram.

Almost lost.

Before you start the game, equip the coin gun called 'Justice' (extra ranged attack helps with this) and the passive skill Counterattack . When you reach Stonebat in Jura's Requiem, don't trans and use Counterattack to push Stonebat against a wall (not a rock column and this is harder to do). Once he can be pushed back no more, let him attack you so you use Counterattack and fling him into the air. While he's in the air / starting to get up again, use Justice. For a normal Counterattack, only place two orbs down at a time and when Stonebat stands up again, he will instantly lose a lot of damage. If your Counterattack was critical, place three orbs. I managed to deal over 2.4k damage in a split second by doing this. Repeat for a fast kill.

Important notes:
-If he doesn't make contact with the orbs, move your position. This happened to me, so I moved left a bit while still facing him and then it worked.
-Pick up every 'Recharge' you see to increase the amount of orbs you can place so you don't run out when you try to kill him, and because they eventually disappear.
-Don't waste your ammunition shooting at anything else other than Stonebat if you use this tactic.
